About Us

It started as a love for the game but has turned into a passion for giving back to it. In 2006, former Division I softball player Jessica Jobes, founded MittMate with the idea of creating a product that would give teams a competitive edge while allowing players to show off their personalities on the field. After tinkering to perfect the design, the MittMate launched to rave reviews.

In 2009 we added the Brochure Fundraiser to help softball teams raise money. MittMate is designed for softball players but it is such a versatile product it can appeal to anyone and teams are cashing in.
In 2010 we are partnering with local fastpitch teams and other softball influentials to test new products and get ideas for improving existing ones. We have also launched a program called “MittMate Labs” where we are testing out new concepts with a small set of softball players, parents, and coaches.
We are appreciative of the softball community for embracing MittMate and we’re excited to continue to develop products for softball players, by softball players.
More about the MittMate inventor: Jessica Jobes, played Div I softball at Drake University in Iowa. After Drake she began her professional career at a top technology company, where she has spent the last 9 years. Since leaving Drake, she's wanted to give back to the game that was such a huge part of her life; and she feels the MittMate is helping her accomplish that goal.
